A série clubes de bairro (2022-) faz uma investigação sobre esses espaços e propõe a criação de um imaginário em torno deles. Os clubes, ao longo do século xx, foram um dos principais lugares de socialização e lazer, sendo geradores, também, de sentimentos de pertencimento e cidadania entre a coletividade. Muitos desses clubes, centenários e localizados em uma paisagem urbana em constante mudança, sobrevivem até hoje em condição de tensionamento com a especulação imobiliária e as constantes transformações culturais das cidades sul-americanas.
A partir dessa premissa, escudos de clubes são criados juntamente com os dados de sua fundação. Na superfície da tela, continuam as experimentações com o volume de tinta através da pasta de modelagem, proporcionando mais possibilidades no manejo desse volume. Há, também, o uso da caiação, técnica de pintura com cal largamente utilizada na construção civil desde o século xviii, enriquecendo a poética da pesquisa ao utilizar materiais presentes nas paredes e muros dos clubes, gerando uma conversa com os fazeres e saberes populares.
Dessa maneira, a série propõe olhar para a materialidade e temporalidade dos clubes de bairro, evidenciando as sobreposições arquitetônicas recebidas ao longo do tempo. Posteriormente, os escudos dos clubes recebem nomes, construindo um léxico que joga com a ficção e o absurdo, criando um universo onde clubes são sediados em paisagens como charcos, ilhas lacustres e brejos, e a tinta, a pasta de modelagem e o cal são testemunhas da passagem de um outro tempo.

The Neighborhood Clubs series (2022–) is an artistic investigation into these historically significant spaces and proposes the construction of an imaginative landscape around them. Throughout the 20th century, neighborhood clubs were key sites of socialization and leisure, generating strong feelings of belonging and citizenship within the collective. Many of these centenary institutions, located in urban landscapes that are constantly shifting, still survive — though often in tension with real estate speculation and the ongoing cultural transformations of South American cities.
From this premise, fictional club crests are created along with their supposed founding dates. On the canvas surface, the experimentation with volume continues through the use of modeling paste, allowing new possibilities in the handling of paint mass. The work also incorporates lime wash — a painting technique widely used in construction since the 18th century — enriching the poetics of the research by employing materials commonly found on the walls and façades of such clubs. This creates a dialogue with popular, vernacular forms of building and making.
In this way, the series reflects on the materiality and temporality of neighborhood clubs, highlighting the architectural layering they have received over time. Later, each club crest is given a name, building a lexicon that plays with fiction and absurdity. In this universe, clubs are imagined as being located in landscapes such as marshes, lacustrine islands, and swamps — and the paint, modeling paste, and lime become witnesses to the passage of a different kind of time.
